It’s official; winter is here, and right now is the best time to finish up any maintenance projects to prepare your home and yard. Take care of these tasks in order to keep your home clean, pleasant, and safe for the cold days ahead:

An Explanation of How iBuyers Work

What are iBuyers, and should you consider selling your home to one? I’ll help you answer both questions today.

Want to Sell a Home? Get a Home Value Report

iBuyers are relatively new to our real estate world. They’re companies that will make you an immediate cash offer to buy your home. Prominent companies like Offerpad and Knock have reached different parts of our market, and they offer a quick home sale for a low price.

As a real estate professional, my job is to help my clients prepare their homes to sell for the most amount of money that today’s market will bear. In other words, the exact opposite of what iBuyers are trying to do.

With an iBuyer, you can skip t ...

1. Don’t quit your job. If you’ve been forced to leave your job, immediately bring it to our attention. We’ll help you formulate a solution and a gameplan. During this process, stability is key, and having consistent, reliable employment is among the most important qualifying factors in the eyes of lenders.

2. Don’t buy or lease a vehicle. Every mortgage company performs what is called a ‘soft pull’ before closing, which is a basic inquiry into your financial debts and obligations. The escrow period is not ...

Selling a home is often a complicated, stressful experience. That’s why it’s so important not to compound that stress by making preventable errors along the way. Here are seven of the most common mistakes and a simple way to avoid each:

2. Not preparing your home for sale. Based on findings from Realtor.com, when your home is properly staged and well-priced, it’ll be in a position to sell 88% faster an ...
